My husband took this backpack on a two-week vacation. It served him well when he walked around and when he took it into the cabin on flights. It's not too big or too small, and it's very well made. He also liked the neutral color.The only issue he had (and it's a very minor one) is that he got caught in a downpour while wearing this backpack, and his umbrella wasn't big enough to shield him and everything he was carrying. Some rainwater fell into the outer pockets of the backpack, and by the time he took shelter, some of the moisture had pooled inside those pockets and seeped inward into the main compartment. He used a hairdryer to dry the inside of the backpack that night. We won't deduct a star for that, since this backpack isn't supposed to be moisture-proof and he really should've had a bigger umbrella or poncho that day to protect him from the rain and wind. So unless you plan to have some rugged outdoor adventures where you anticipate getting rained on or snowed on very frequently, this backpack should be just fine to carry. It really is versatile, comfortable, and good looking.
