High Sierra makes quality backpacks. I bought one at Costco about 9 years ago and gave it to my husband to take to work every day and it's still in excellent condition. This one seems to be nearly as high quality, though I don't like the pocket layout as much. The new zippers don't open and close as smoothly as my old one, but my main reason for buying it was to take a week's worth of essentials as a personal item on a plane and it was great for that! I wish it didn't have quite so much padding, as I don't need that, but it would feel really safe for a laptop or other equipment.
